UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi will hold the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Recruitment Examination 2023 for Government Jobs (Sarkari Naukri) Vacancy posts of Medical Officers in various Government Hospitals/Departments/Medical Facilities throughout India on 16th July 2023.

 

Online applications in the prescribed format are invited for Medical Services Exam 2023 by UPSC from suitable candidates for recruitment and selection of various Group-A Medical Officers (Advertisement No. 08/2023-CMS)

 

The recruitment examination will be held at various center's across the country as per the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health)

 

About UPSC Medical Services Examination 2023

UPSC is conducting Medical Services Exam 2023 for the recruitment of Medical Officers for Hospitals and Medical Institutes situated across India on 16th July 2023. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the annual Combined Medical Services Examination 2023.  Qualification to Join Central Government Medical Services is MBBS and the maximum age for this recruitment examination is 32 years.

 

Vacancy Details of Medical Services Examination 2023

o   Medical Officer: 1261 vacancies in various Government departments through Medical Services Examination 2023, Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules, Qualification: A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination. 

 

o   Category-I vacancies

o   Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service: 584

 

o   Category-II vacancies

o   Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300

o   General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC): 01

o   General Duty Medical Gr.-II in Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD): 376

 

Application Fee

₹200/- to be paid in any branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI or using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
