Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) Thiruvananthapuram , has invites online application for the recruitment of Sarkari Naukri vacancies of Technician, Draughtsman and Radiographer in various disciplines for the year 2023. (Advertisement No. VSSC-324).

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is the lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India.

1. Technician-B (Fitter): 17 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

2. Technician-B (Electronic Mechanic): 08 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

3. Technician-B (Electrician): 06 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

4. Technician-B (Machinist): 04 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

5. Technician-B (MR&AC): 03 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

6. Technician-B (Turner): 02 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

7. Technician-B (Plumber): 02 vacancies, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

8. Technician-B (Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Mechanic Diesel) : 01 vacancy, Pay Scale: Level-3 ₹21700-₹69100

Age Limit is 35 – 40 years as on 18.05.2023

Selection process

The selection process consists of (1) written test and (2) skill test. The written test consists of 80 Multiple choice questions, with duration of 90 minutes and Pass Criteria for UR – 32/80 marks and for reserved category - 24/80 marks.

Skill Test: Will be of qualifying nature only. The ratio for skill test is 1:5 with a minimum of 10 candidates. The minimum marks required for qualifying the skill test is 50/100 marks for UR candidates and 40/100 marks for reserved categories.

The candidates who qualify in the skill test, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test.

Online Application Fee

Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay Rs.500 as application fee on online mode only. Female / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Ex-servicemen [EX-SM] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) candidates will be refunded full fee subject to the condition that the candidates should appear in the written test.

For other candidates, an amount of Rs.400 will be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing written test.
