Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) invites online applications for Government Job (Sarkari Naukri) from young, dynamic and committed professionals to be inducted as Management Trainees (Electrical) through GATE 2023 for . (Advt. No. MPPR-01/2023-24)

OPTCL  is  a State owned Power utility in Odisha is engaged in the business of Transmission of electricity with a vision to emerge as one of the leading power utilities in the country in Transmission space. 

OPTCL Management Trainees (Electrical) Recruitment 2023

Management Trainees (Electrical): 50 vacancies (UR-27, SEBC-05, SC-09, ST-09) (Ex.SM-01, PWD-02), Stipend & Pay Scale: During the training period they shall be paid a stipend of ₹50000/- and after completion of the one year training period the selected candidates will be placed as Assistant Manager (Electrical ) in the pay scale of : ₹56100-177500 (Level EE-2), Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC and PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

Age: Must be 21 years but not above 32 years as on 01.04.2023.

Online Application Fee

₹1000/- (₹500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) plus GST @18% to be paid online through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Selection Process for MT (Electrical) in OPTCL

The selection process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering discipline paper of GATE-2023 & Personal Interview. Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview based on their marks out of 100 in GATE 2023. Please note that only GATE 2023 Score (Marks out of 100) is valid for this recruitment process. GATE Marks of 2022 or prior is not valid.
