SJVN Limited invites online application from interested and eligible candidates for the post of Jr. Field Engineer and Jr. Field Officer in various disciplines vide SJVN Recruitment Notification 113/2023. As per the official notification of SJVN Recruitment 2023, there are 155 vacancies for the below mentioned positions. The selected candidates will get a salary of Rs.45,000 p.m., In addition to the fixed remuneration, additional remuneration shall also be payable.

The candidates applying for the said position have to pay an application fee of Rs.300 + GST through online mode only. The application fee is exempted for the candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST/ PwD. The selected candidates will be posted initially in SJVN Projects at Arunachal Pradesh.

The selection will be based on a computer-based Test. The engagement of the candidate is temporary in nature and on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years. The contract period may further be extended on a yearly basis for 2 more years depending upon the work requirement and performance of the candidates. As per the SJVN Recruitment 2023 notification, however, the selected candidates shall be considered for regularization in SJVN in line with SJVN’s policy for regularization of Fixed Tenure Appointees.

SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna, Category-I and Schedule– ‘A’ CPSE under administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, was incorporated on May 24, 1988 as a joint venture of the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP). Beginning with a single project and single State operation, the company has a total portfolio of approximately 55000 MW and commissioned seven projects totalling 2091.5 MW of installed capacity which includes company’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS).

Salary for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 45,000. In addition to the fixed remuneration, additional remuneration shall be payable as mentioned below:

Age Limit for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The maximum age limit for applying for the above mentioned position is 30 years. Age relaxation will be provided by the Company as per the GOI guidelines.

 

Selection Process for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The selection process involves Computer Based Test (CBT) only. The CBT will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 70 multiple choice questions of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 multiple choice questions on General Aptitude. Minimum qualifying marks in CBT shall be 40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates & 50% for others. 

The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and other conditions mentioned in this advertisement as well as on the website www.sjvn.nic.in. The provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. The selected candidates will be placed only in SJVN Projects located in Arunachal Pradesh.

Application Fee for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The candidates are required to submit a non-refundable application fee of Rs.300 + GST through online mode. The application fee is exempted for the candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST/ PwD. There will not be any other mode of payment of application fee.

Period of Engagement for SJVN Recruitment 2023

According to the SJVN Recruitment 2023 notification, the engagement of candidates is temporary in nature and on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years. The contract period may further be extended on a yearly basis for 2 more years depending upon the work requirement and performance of the candidates. The contractual engagement will automatically be terminated on the expiry of 36 months or on completion of the extended period.
