Recruitment of Officers in SJVN Limited 2023

SJVN Limited is inviting online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Field Engineer and Field Officer vide SJVN recruitment notification no. 114/2023. There are 29 vacancies under the said posts. The selected candidate will be engaged for 03 years and may be extended on a yearly basis for 2 more years depending upon the work requirement and performance of the candidates.

The selection of the candidates for SJVN recruitment 2023 is done on the basis of interviews. The engagement will not entitle the candidates to claim for any regular employment in SJVN or any relaxation in case of any requirement for any post in SJVN, however, the selected candidates shall be considered for regularization in SJVN in line with SJVN’s policy for regularization of Fixed Tenure Appointees. The interview will be held at the Corporate Office, Shimla. The online applications will start from 25.09.23 with the last date is 15.10.23.

SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna, Category-I and Schedule– ‘A’ CPSE under administrative control of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, was incorporated on May 24, 1988 as a joint venture of the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP). Beginning with a single project and single State operation, the company has a total portfolio of approximately 55000 MW and commissioned seven projects totalling 2091.5 MW of installed capacity which includes company’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS).

As per the SJVN recruitment notification 2023, there are 29 vacancies for the post of Field Engineer and Field Officer as per the below details:

I) Field Engineer (Electrical/ Civil) : 08 Vacancies, Qualification : Full time regular Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute of India.

II) Field Officer (Official Language) : 02 Vacancies, Qualification : Graduate with two years full time Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject in the Degree Examination from a recognized University/ Institute.

III) Field Officer (F&A) : 04 Vacancies, Qualification : CA/ICWACMA/Two years full time MBA with specialization in Finance.

IV) Field Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil) : 15 Vacancies (Elec-8, Mech-4, Civil-3), Qualification : Full time regular Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute of India.

Experience for SJVN Recruitment 2023

1) Field Engineer (Electrical/ Civil) : 14/10/6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Engineering/Costing/ Contracting/ Construction Work/ Operation & Maintenance of Transmission line.

2) Field Officer (Official Language) : 14/10/6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Implementing GoI’s policy regarding use of Hindi for official work in all respects including translation & other related work/ Well conversant with official Hindi terminology.

3) Field Officer (F&A) : 14/10/6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Finance & Accounting.

4) Field Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil) : 14/10/6 years of post-qualification executive experience in activities regarding Contracting/Commercial/O&M etc. of Solar/ Wind Power Projects.

Age Limit for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The age limit is 18 years to 45 years, based on the posts.

Selection Procedure for SJVN Recruitment 2023

The selection process for these posts shall consists of Personal Interviews which will be held at Corporate Office, Shimla. The engaged candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad or in any of the functions at Project/Stations or offices of SJVN. The candidates working under Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings have to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

The eligible candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 590/- through online mode only for SJVN recruitment 2023. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. The SC/ST/PwD/ candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
